The words this site uses throughout: agent, position, foundation, scope. Defined here once, so nobody has to guess.
An AI agent takes a request, understands it, acts in your systems where it is allowed to, and hands over where it is not. That is what separates it from an assistant that only answers: an agent has a declared scope of action.
Where it playsA position is a job handed to an agent, named the way a hire would be: client concierge, citizen services, bookkeeper. You do not deploy "some AI", you cover a position.
The foundation is the layer that runs the models, holds the data and builds the agents: ours is IAaaS. It talks to nobody directly, it makes the platforms possible.
Where it playsA vertical platform is the software where an agent is deployed and spoken to: Support Portal for conversation, Horizon for operations, Conformia for compliance, Learn for training. One agent can live on several.
Where it playsA capability is one precise thing a platform can do, declared in its config and proven by at least one played scene. What is not declared as a capability is promised nowhere on this site.
A scenario is a real request played end to end, with its beats, the sources read and the answer sent. It is a written demonstration, not a recording of production traffic.
Scope is the list of what an agent is allowed to do, set by you, request by request. Outside it, it attempts nothing: it passes the request on.
A handover is the moment the agent passes a request to a named person, with the history, what it has already checked and the requester’s state of mind. It is a built gesture, not a failure.
A source is the document or system an answer is drawn from, and the agent names it before answering. That is what makes an answer checkable rather than merely plausible.
Sovereignty here means you choose which law and which infrastructure your data is processed under. It is not a label, it is a hosting choice you make.
An air-gapped environment is an installation with no link to the public network, delivered with its own images and models. It is the step beyond hosting on your own infrastructure, for trades that require it.
A credit is the unit that measures an agent’s usage, counted per conversation or per processed item depending on the platform. It is what makes an invoice readable instead of a flat fee that says nothing.
